We already showed you Hokusai’s “Great Wave” laser etched on an IBM ThinkPad, but we wanted to take that a step further, and show you a different take on the same artwork.

Check out this amazing laser etching of Hokusai’s “Great Wave” on an Ipod Classic. The IBM Thinkpad had a great dull, hidden glimmer to it, but the iPod Classic pops like a white pearl! The coolest part about this laser etching is the Henry David Thoreau quote that starts on the front side of the iPod and ends seamlessly in the back, as well as, fits the wave motif so well: “You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.”
